Distribution Manager/Transport Manager - Third Party Logistics

Our client, a major 3 pl/third party logistics provider, is looking to recruit a senior transport manager/distribution manager to run a large transport department on behalf of one of its main food retail customers in Cheshire/Greater Manchester

Salary: up to £45k + car + benefits

We are looking for a dynamic, highly experienced distribution manager/transport manager who has proven experience within the food retail transportation industry/third party logistics

The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of 160 drivers, as well as maintenance fo the fleet. 

Excellent communication/man management skills are essential as is the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Must have CPC

Must have previous experience working within 3pl/third party logistics within the food retail distribution sector
