J2EE Applications Support Engineer - Dublin

My client is one of the most successful and fastest growing online gaming companies in the world today. Highly successful and very profitable this premiership online gaming company are seeking an Application Support Engineer to join a well established team in beautiful Dublin.

You will be a proven and flexible J2EE Application Support Engineer looking to work in a diverse technical environment with a wide range of different systems and software. My clients working environment is both fun and challenging, with a highly demanding and technically savvy user base with many of the latest technologies.

Responsibilities:
" Support the broad range of J2EE Information Applications and services.
" Take ownership of issues through to resolution.
" Liaising with external providers, contractors and coordinate assistance to resolve issues.
" Adherence to predefined SLA's.
" Build and maintain the J2EE Application Knowledge Base and ensure documentation, manuals and procedures are current.
" Test releases, updates and enhancements to existing business information applications.
" Communication of releases, updates and enhancements to J2EE applications.
" Recommend improvements to J2EE information applications.
" Participate in project and business reviews when required.

Proven Ability:
" Ability to prioritise own workload and work to exacting deadlines.
" Proven ability with J2EE Application functionality and data management concepts.
" Proven ability of JBoss Application Server.
" Proven ability in a UNIX environment.
" J2EE e-Commerce industry exposure.
" Supporting 24x7 eCommerce systems comprising a suite of applications.

Online Gambling or iGaming experience would be beneficial. (Although absolutely not essential)
