Linux Systems Administrator - London - £23-30k + Benefits

My client is a leading provider of Mobile Services to the iGaming industry in the UK. They transact millions of impressions every month. Due to growing demands of the business they are currently looking for a Linux Systems Administrator to join their team in London.

Your role will be widely varied and a broad set of skills will be needed to accomplish the necessary tasks and responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to work on various tasks within Unix administration, Database management, System building and Network management. Personal development and mentoring will be provided to you and will allow you to gain knowledge of the complex production systems.

Responsibilities:
Build and configure Red Hat servers and install application services.
Support client integrations, installation and configuring middleware applications on client servers.
Support the documentation of information for business systems.
Support the Web Content teams
Provide assistance to the internal office, network infrastructure and production facilities.
Support the development teams with build and test servers.

Proven ability:
Proven ability of RedHat Enterprise Linux.
Understanding of Unix administration, Database management, System building and Network management
Ability to self-manage, work to specifications, provide estimates and risk assessments.
Knowledge of Linux server architecture, storage and virtualisation.
Knowledge of monitoring tools, backup & restore, performance tuning and capacity planning.

Beneficial:
Proven ability of Unix administration, Database management, System building and Network management would be beneficial.

A knowledge and passion for online gaming is beneficial.
