9579/534/SJ Field Service Engineer - Midlands £25,000 - 33,000 + Company Car + Pension The Company My client is a world leader in scientific analytical machinery selling scientific analytical to clients in academia and manufacturing. They have a strong UK service team of over 20 engineers and service hundreds of machines in the field. An opportunity has now been created in the service team for someone to cover the Midlands region. The Role You will begin by shadowing engineers in the field and learning about the simpler product range before moving onto the more complex machinery. Once up to speed you will on average spend two days a week doing PPM activities and your other days responding to customer breakdown enquiries. There will be a lot of electronic faults as well as some mechanical issues with pumps, oil changes and cooling systems.
