Cambridgeshire based gaming company are looking for a software Developer/Support with solid C++ & object oriented technical skills. The successful candidates will be trained up on the company’s internally developed multiple platform engine and a comprehensive set of support tools. This technology not only allows successful development of quality games on time and on budget, but it allows developers to rapidly prototype new ideas.
The successful candidate will have software development experience for major consoles and platforms, including some of the following: Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Nintendo GameBoy Advance, Nintendo Wii, PC, Sony PlayStation 2, Sony PlayStation 3 and Sony PSP.
Working with a team of industry veterans this is a fantastic time to join one of the UK’s market leading games designers which is fast becoming one of the most successful and highly respected video game developers in the world.
The ideal Candidate will be degree educated in computer science, mathematics or relevant subject with a passion for games development. Ideally you will have at least 12 months commercial experience within the gaming industry using at least two of the following skill sets: C, C++, OO, Lua Script, 3DS Max, java and Open GL.
