Software Developer Cambridge Java/C++ Web Based Gaming Cambridgeshire

Cambridge based software house are looking for Java and C++ Software Developers to join their 1st Class technologies department to work on their latest gaming development projects. The successful candidate will be working on high profile and challenging projects, developing cutting edge in-house technologies that produce fast, highly scalable web-based solutions.

Working alongside the development teams you will be turning ideas and concepts into fully designed and developed gaming products. You will be maintaining and improving existing websites and databases whilst providing recommendations for the introduction of beneficial new technologies. You will be expected to lead, mentor, support and train junior developers in order to expand and enhance their skills and capabilities. Proven programming experience using Java/C++ is essential plus experience with high-traffic systems where efficiency and scalability is important. You will require solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript on both UNIX/Linux.

The ideal Candidate will have a good degree in Computer science, Computer programming or a relevant subject. The following skills will be highly advantageous: Matlab, Javascript, Open GL, 3D Modelling, 3DS Max, UI.
