Sales and Marketing Executive from an Education Sector with knowledge and skills in Software/IT background has an excellent opportunity with a global market leader in scheduling and planning software. As a member of the Executive Committee you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of marketing resources and strategy, increasing and developing the corporate image and also leading the applications into other market sectors.

A degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent), a background within the Education Sector, 5 years commercial background in a sales and/or marketing position within a software company and “Board Level” background is essential. Skills in web technologies, relational databases and client/server products are desirable. Education/Government Sector knowledge is beneficial however knowledge of other markets and clients that can utilise scheduling and planning software is useful to progress these products into other sectors. A second European language will be of benefit, such as Dutch, German, Spanish. This role is based in Cambridge but will require some worldwide travel including Australia, North America, Germany, Holland and Sweden.
