Cambridge based software house are looking for exceptional C++ / Java Software developers to help design game element ideas including: Quests, Mini-Games, Skills and Characters for online multiplayer games.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with ambition and initiative to join one of the fastest growing gaming company’s in the UK. The successful candidate will be working with the company’s expanding ‘Content Development’ team designing and scripting new quests, skills and monsters alongside market leading graphic artists, testers and other software developers. You will be involved in all aspects of design/development using the company’s internal scripting language to write high quality script whilst participating in large scale design decisions to establish the future of the games.

The ideal candidate will have strong creative writing skills, imaginative storyline ideas and a clear understanding of game design terminology. You will have previously written/developed quests (levels) for CRPGs, MUDs or similar whilst at University or in your spare time. Games industry experience, preferably in a creative, game design or scripting role is highly advantageous.
