Web Developer. PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, OOD/OOP

THE COMPANY:
Highly successful investment company is looking for experienced Web Developers to join their team to participate in challenging development of a unique web solution for the financial industry with the use of social media technologies and open source technologies in order to promote interaction of social networks with financial markets, trading infrastructure and the corporate boundaries.
The main technology used includes PHP, JavaScript, HTML and SQL. Applicants should have experience of PHP and ideally coupled with solid knowledge of MySQL, object-oriented methodologies in PHP5 and some of the other technologies. Experience of working on web development with an SQL based database (optimisation / normalisation techniques), LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) development and understanding of JavaScript libraries such as JQuery is a bonus as well as experience with any of the following: RSS, JSON, RESTful APIs… Commercial experience developing with Web 2.0 or Web 3.0 is especially relevant and having the experience of speaking to users about their requirements is also highly advantageous. This role has enormous potential for personal growth.
