Key Skills -In depth experience of supporting complex applications ideally Java/J2EE based SW with skills in Applications server - any of the following JBOSS, Weblogic, Websphere, Apache or IIS.

Interesting role to join a growing team of IT application support consultants in Bracknell in a senior backline, technically challenging role. The applications run on both Unix platforms ( Solaris, AIX and HP-UX, Linux ) and Microsoft environments. The applications are developed in Java/ J2EE - so experience of Java would be very useful. Comprehensive knowledge of databases is necessary with one of the major vendors on the market – Oracle, SQL Server and/or DB2/UDB. Candidates will also have a solid web technology background: web servers, html, xml, http, firewalls, networks etc. Even better if you are competent with one or more Application and Web servers – JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere, Apache, Tomcat, IIS.

This role is varied and interesting as you will be providing support to a wide range of large companies- both from the UK and mainland Europe. You will be given plenty of time to investigate problems and will be actively encouraged to further develop your technical knowledge. They are stable, extremely profitable and growing fast so there are good career prospects. If you have any other European language skills that would be beneficial.
