Technical Skills (You must have the following skills and experience:)
· Strong architecture and design skills for system-level software.
· C/C++ required, PL/I and COBOL .
· Experience of agile development methodologies.
· Experience developing/enhancing a source level debugger a strong plus.
· Understanding of OS level signal handling and memory management.
· Strong problem solving skills, experience enhancing large legacy systems a plus.
· Demonstrate innovative and creative thinking.
· Development experience on Windows.
· Wide range of platforms, including Windows, Unix, Linux, and z/OS.
· Desire to seamlessly integrate PLI with existing Micro Focus languages.
· Experience with Intel, Sparc, and PA-RISC assembly language.
REQUIREMENTS
· Education to Degree Level – ideally Computer Science or similar subject.
· Strong and proven technical experience in software development.
· Proven track record in software development.
· Strong technical software skills.
· Strong communication skills.
· Enthusiastic, dedicated team player with a will to succeed.
· Able to work directly with customers and partners.
· Must be a self-starter and have a willingness to work on all aspects of a software development project. (Design, coding, testing, documentation, build system changes, QA).
