A world leading organisation based in Cambridge have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Computer programmer to join their established development team where you will be working on all of the latest cutting edge technologies on a wide variety of large scale projects.
You will be working on a large number of extremely interesting research projects and will ideally have excellent Java and Perl programming experience in order to be able to take the projects forward.
You will be developing experimental approaches that will analyse certain issues and eventually be used to help provide a comprehensive view of genetic alterations.

Skills
The successful candidate will ideally have a computer science degree in a relevant discipline though this is not essential to your application.
Extensive programming experience in Perl or Java is vital to this role.

This is a very dynamic, collaborative, academic research facility and ideally you will have a keen scientific interest although this is not essential to your application.
