Job Specification
My client supports the management of enhanced pharmaceutical services for
NHS Primary Care Trusts through the collection, processing and reporting of service
data. Their IT platform is used by PCTs across the country to streamline services and
simplify payment and audit of service providers. They are looking for an Object-Oriented PHP programmer with at least 2 years commercial experience who will be able to work in a small team of developers, support staff and analysts. Work will range from large projects, such as platform development and redesign, to smaller scale projects maintaining individual modules. You should also be well versed in databases especially PostgreSQL or MySQL. They are looking for an articulate programmer with initiative who will be comfortable working with clients and dealing with a numbers or project simultaneously. You will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to deadlines. You will bring your experience and initiative to bear by recommending better ways of designing and implementing our software.

PHP 5 - HTML - CSS Javascript - PostgreSQL / My SQL - Zend Framework (6 months experience) Template Engine e.g. Smarty
