Job responsibilities and Duties
The development teams work on a very broad range of operating systems, technologies and languages. Technologies include contemporary application frameworks such as those found on IBM z/OS, Microsoft Windows & .NET and J2EE platforms by Sun et al. As well as proprietary IDE tooling, also develop products in Visual Studio and Eclipse. Languages used include COBOL, Java, C/C++ and C#.
There are several teams each with specialised skills, including language parsing/compiler/run-time technology, transactional execution environments, integrated development environments, middleware/communications, mainframe sub-systems, database systems, application analysis, and application extension & generation.
