Java/AJAX Software Engineer Cambridge Keywords: Struts, Spring, JUnit, Hibernate, Tomcat. Cambridge based software house are looking for an experienced Java AJAX Software Developer to join their market leading company. Working alongside a first class team of scientists, software developers and software architects, the successful candidate will be concentrating on a variety of projects from developing web services and enterprise applications through to the development of the Oracle backend that supports these applications.

To be successful in this position you will be highly competent at developing Java-based web services with experience with one or more of the following: Struts, Spring, JUnit, Hibernate, and Tomcat. Besides excellent technical skills, the ideal candidate will bring both enthusiasm and the ability to develop high-quality software, you will working closely with Quality Assurance and other development teams to ensure good test coverage of all newly developed functionality.

The ideal candidate will be Qualified to at least degree level in either a computer science or chemistry related scientific discipline.

It is essential that you have solid web application development experience using JavaScript/AJAX. Oracle or PL/SQL expertise would be an advantage, as is good knowledge of C++.
