Position:Interim / Contract IT Manager
Location:Gainsborough, UK.
Salary:£300-350/day
Duration: Fixed term - 6 months / Strong potential to become permanent.

Role:
We are seeking a strong and confident IT Manager to join our client on an interim basis. This person will hold a senior and highly varied role with responsibility for recruiting and managing an IT team capable of dealing with Network Maintenance, Server Maintenance and IT Support/Helpdesk for over 100 PC users.

This individual will also assist in the planning and implementation of new infrastructure, oversee the administration and maintenance of the company’s existing server architecture and oversee the administration of the company’s WAN+LAN Networks.

Our client is the world’s largest independent supplier within their sector and their market leadership is clearly demonstrated by the numerous accolades and awards they have received. Due to a recent Board decision to insource their IT infrastructure they are seeking a confident IT Manager to join their company, initially on an interim basis in order to demonstrate that this business model can deliver real benefits in terms of speed of response and accountability.

Candidate:
Suitable candidates must have at least 5-10 years of IT Management experience as well as possessing a track record leading IT teams. Knowledge of the Fashion, Clothing or Luxury Goods sectors would be a positive advantage as would a background within the Manufacturing arena. This person should have excellent IT Strategic skills and no fear of getting “hands-dirty” dealing with Server or Network related issues.

Good communication and interpersonal skills will be a must in this lively and diverse environment.
