JOBTITLE: INFORMATION ARCHITECT
SALARY - £50k
LOCATION: WEST LONDON
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Creative Director, you will be responsible for information architecture, content strategy and other digital comms/brand planning activities as part of their thought leadership programme and planning discipline. The role will entail requirements gathering through stakeholder engagement workshops; development of entire site structures; content audit and migration; wireframing; and validation through focus groups or UATs. It is important that you have a holistic understanding of how an entire site structure is created from scratch, as well as how content development / UX can be integrated into the IA development process. It would be even better if you are familiar with the digital communications landscape, and have an opinion as to how online corporate communications will evolve in the next 3-5 years.
SKILLS
3-5 years experience with information architecture and/or content strategy. Please note: They need someone who has a holistic understanding of the entire IA methodology, from requirements
gathering, stakeholder engagement, wireframing to the development of site structure. They are not
looking for people who specialise in parts of the whole process. Structured thinker and excellent communicator familiar with stakeholder engagement. Knowledge of best practice in online corporate, B2B and B2C communications; experience with FTSE 100 & 250 / FORBES companies a plus. Experienced user of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project tool sets e.g. Visio. Familiarity with online survey software (e.g. Survey Monkey) a bonus. Knowledge of user-centric interface design / user experience a bonus. Ability to manage client relationships at senior levels across marketing and executive functions. Ability to independently manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks. Proactive self-starter with excellent time management skills
