A fantastic opportunity has arisen to undertake a “IT Manager / IT Systems Manager” role with our client, a well known and highly regarded manufacturer.

The Role
The main objective of the position is to provide IT and Systems Management to four locations in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland. The main duties will revolve around the IT management of all four sites (including all IT infrastructure, servers, desktop PC’s, financial and ERP/MRP software, etc), the Technical Management of their manufacturing and design systems.

Their Board are keen to upgrade the company’s IT infrastructure and implement new systems to ensure their rapid growth is helped and not hindered by technology.

Key Experience Required
Suitable candidates must have previously held an IT Management or Systems Management role as well as possessing a good understanding of the manufacturing sector. This person should have strong hands on technical skills and have no issues explaining highly technical issues to Board level contacts. This person will be expected to identify short, medium and long-term improvements to their existing infrastructure, analyse business processes and present changes as a coherent IT strategy. Relevant personality requirements are articulacy, flexibility and honesty.
