An exciting opportunity to join a market leading Storage Vendor in Northamptonshire who are looking for HW Support engineer with specific Storage skills (SCSI, SAN, fiber channel etc). This is a permanent in-house role within the EMEA Storage support team with excellent training and career prospects. Candidates must have additional language skills either French, Italian, Spanish or German.

You will have previous support experience in a storage environment -on the Storage Hardware side as well as some Software i.e. backup technologies (Legato Networker, Veritas Netbackup, Backup Exec). If you have had any experience with SAN, NAS, SCSI, Fibre channels, tape drives or libraries or Raid then this would be of interest- although not all are essential.

You will be supporting customers on technical queries related to installed storage devices, managing and troubleshooting these issues as well as escalating them when the need arises. These products are all based around data storage, SCSI and SANs.

All support will be carried out over the phone so you must have excellent communication and troubleshooting skills. The team in Northampton is supporting EMEA based clients. If you are not based in the UK at the moment - but would like to relocate the company is providing relocation allowance.
