Group IS / IT Manager - Hexadex

Hexadex is the privately-owned holding company for a group of subsidiaries operating in the engineering / manufacturing sector. The group has grown both organically and through strategic acquisition, and turnover has reached around £100m with operations in the UK and Scandinavia.

Due to their continued growth they are now currently looking to recruit a Group IS/ IT Manager to join their existing team. This is the senior role in the Hexadex IS / IT team, where you will be responsible for both personnel and technical aspects. You will manage the IS / IT team for Hexadex and have overall functional responsibility for subsidiary IS / IT teams. Among your key responsibilities, you will:

-Understand and develop the existing Group IS / IT strategy, in cooperation with Group senior managers and subsidiary MDs
-Develop and manage a professional and focused IS / IT service aligned to the needs of each business
-Produce, update and deliver the Group IS / IT business plan
-Develop business systems to meet the needs of the businesses, including ERP, EDI and management reporting
-Manage all staff within the IS / IT function, either directly or indirectly, and ensure that their personal development is aligned to business needs

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level with a number of years experience as a Senior IT Manager within a multi-site organization, and with a thorough understanding of manufacturing business systems processes, plus experience of systems implementation. Some UK and overseas travel will be required.
