Electrical Maintenance Technicians

Location - Edinburgh / Stirling / Aberdeen

Salary - £22,000 to £26000 depending on experience
(OTE £30,000 to £35,000)
Company Van provided (shared between 2 Technicians)

Role
My client is looking for experienced Electrical Maintenance Technicians to work on Wind Farm projects in either Edinburgh, Stirling or Aberdeen.
The successful Electrical Maintenance Technician will work on the operation of Wind Turbines which will include the following:
o Day to day maintenance
o Supervising sub contractors
o Fault Finding
o Problem Solving
o Electrical Generators
o Gearboxes and Hydraulic Systems
o Analyze defects

Your role as a Electrical Maintenance technician will see you work autonomously on simple repairs of turbines, carry out complex repair processes in collaboration with the local Service Co-Ordinator, carry out planned maintenance and inspection activities and fill in reports and checklists in order to completely inform the Service Co-Ordinator.

Required Experience
You must possess a qualification in electrical / mechanical engineering or equivalent be it Degree, HNC, HND, ONC or time served. Ideal backgrounds will preferably be ex forces, Heavy Engineering, Coal board, Oil and Gas, Industrial or Manufacturing.
