Our client is a multidisciplinary environmental consultancy, currently recognised as an international leader in REACH. An exciting opportunity exists for experienced chemists or toxicologists to join the team, providing client support for all aspects of the new legislation. This position will ideally be based in Aberdeen, however for the right candidate it could alternatively be situated in London, Southampton or Glasgow.
Your role will include: client liaison and project management; assessment of clients’ obligations under the new regulations; general consultancy support; substance identification and classification; interpretation of eco / toxicological and toxicological data; completion of dossier and data submission packages; consortia management activities; only representative services; and business development.
You will have a relevant technical background in chemistry or eco / toxicology and have good knowledge of the REACH legislation. You should already have experience of delivering and leading consultancy projects in REACH. Self motivated and an excellent communicator, you will have an MSc or PhD in ecotoxicology, chemistry or a related subject. Good project management and time management skills are essential as is the ability to develop new business leads and win work.
