This is an excellent opportunity for a Specialist Application Engineer to be responsible for the Management of projects/orders from the project phase through order processing to initial operation in cooperation with the Regional Sales Organisation. Successful candidates will also be involved in the technical definition of propulsion systems with diesel engines including generation of specifications and scopes of supply.

You will be responsible for cost calculation for project systems business in coordination with the management of respective regions, planning and monitoring of project/order budget and schedule, consultation of customers on technical issues, conduct of negotiations with customers and sub-contractors and support of marketing department and regions with trade exhibitions and conferences.

Qualified to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or a technical specialist with experience in the development of diesel engines and/or drive systems, you should have a background in Project Management and excellent computer skills (Windows Office programs, CAD). Excellent team-working abilities, customer orientation and a willingness to travel on business worldwide are essential.
