Mechanical Site Manager/ Project Engineer – Waste Management - London

£200-300 per day 6 Month Contract

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Site Manager/ Project Engineer to supervise the installation and commissioning of a waste management plant into existing premises located in London.

The Mechanical Site Manager/ Project Engineer, reporting directly to the Engineering Director, will be charged with overseeing the installation of pipe work and tanks varying in size along with plant such as pumps and dryers etc. This would include managing sub contracted welders, mechanical/ electrical fitters and other manual labourers, ensuring work is completed to the high standards required, within the desired times scales and in accordance with health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate needs to have an understanding of CDM regulations along with experience as a site manager in the water, petrochemical, oil and gas, waste management, chemical production or similar process industry.

The successful candidate will receive a daily rate of between £200-300 per day for a project expected to last 6 months. For the right candidate the opportunity may arise to join the end employer’s project team permanently to assist in the installation of future plants,
