The Company
A business established in the 1980s that specialise in packaging machinery, predominantly for the food and pharmaceutical sectors. Employing 45 staff they are widely regarded as a leading name for tray erecting and packing equipment. They can provide standard machines and a bespoke solution for their clients. As part of their continuing focus on improving after sales service an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the service team.

The Role
As a service engineer your duties will be an equal mix of breakdown repairs, service visits and customer training. You will also be involved in machinery installations when the need arises. This is a UK wide role, with efforts made to ensure your duties are kept close to home when possible. In this role you will have a great deal of variety and will be required to do a decent amount of travel. The need to do overnight stays are minimal.

The Candidate
Candidates for this position will be electro-mechanical engineers with the ability to work on three phase. Previous experience as a service engineer (at least two years) is essential. Previous experience on packaging machinery, conveyors or high speed machinery will be an advantage but is not essential. Full training to familiarise you with the machinery is provided.

The Benefits
You will receive a basic salary of £25k and all overtime past 40 hours a week will be paid. You are paid door to door and weekend work is available if you wish to maximise your earnings. You will realistically earn in excess of £30k. You will also be provided with a fully expensed company car, company credit card, contributory pension and 24 days holiday.
