Our client in the West Midlands is looking to recruit a Service Engineer to join their busy operation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support to in-house and off site assembly, installation commissioning, test service, maintenance and fault finding on a range of new and refurbished commercial and military projects.

The Person:

* Must possess a recognised engineering qualifications plus:

* Multi disciplined individual with background knowledge of Mechanical, Hydraulic and electrical disciplines.

* Can demonstrate proven hands on knowledge in the building, repair and fault finding of equipment along with a good solid understanding of a range of engineering techniques.

* Able to work alone on own initiative to engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics and instructions and where necessary instruct/advise others on how to perform the work.

* Self driven individual with flexible “can do” attitude towards changing work requirements and worldwide travel.

* Have a good understanding of safe working practices.

* Trustworthy, confident, presentable, able to work well under pressure and provide clear confident communication with the client.

Employment Conditions:

Hours of work will be based on a normal five day working week of 37 hrs between 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 12:00 Friday. However due to operational requirements you will be required and must be prepared to work additional hours over and above these.

Holiday entitlement is 33 days per annum including all statutory and public holidays.
