Project Overview: 2 temporary positions available for Project Planner/ Co-ordinator to be responsible for the following: -
Take responsibility for the documentation of projects, actively participating in all phases of the project. Helps the PM to identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project; -
Produce effective project schedules within cost, timescale and resource estimates for the successful delivery of the project to agreed terms of reference;
- Ensure the realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and help to track all activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports as required; -
- Monitor costs, timescales and resources used and highlight where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensure that delivered systems are implemented within these criteria; -
- Assist with the management of change control procedure and ensure that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off;
- - Produce project, programme and portfolio reports based on data gathered from PMs and information systems to specific levels of accuracy and timeliness;
- - Advise PMs and other project stakeholders on project standards, build lines, templates and procedures.
Essential Skills/Experience: - A good level of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing, engineering or construction industries;
- - Strong IT skills including MS Project and all MS Office applications;
- - Good all round Project Management, Planning, Project Control and Risk Management experience; -
- Experience of multidiscipline, multi-company projects;
Desirable Skills/Experience: - Formal certification in Project Management.
