Project Manager Based in Derby

Salary and Location
The salary offered will be up to £60,000pa and will be based in Derby

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to work within a developing rail infrastructure company and manage the companies projects from conception to completion.

Role Description
This role requires you to
• Manage projects through the bidding process to delivery, implementation and acceptance stages.
• Work on new signalling control systems in the UK
• Oversee delivery as per project requirements
• Liaise with clients and other contractors as required.
• Become involved with the tendering and bid process in regard to the winning of contracts.
Required Experience:
For this role you will be required to:
• demonstrate capability to provide the project management for new and existing signalling control systems through the full project lifestyle
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, preferably prince 2
• Provide effective leadership to a joint client/supplier project team which will range in size from 5 - 25 people.
• Ensure that excellent project planning is undertaken
• Have a previous working knowledge of the Rail industry with experience of signalling control systems
• Have significant experience in successfully delivering projects and supporting them in a commercial environment.
