A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a graduate-level Electrical Project/Design Engineer with a specialist Research Equipment Developer to the University, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical and Alternative Fuels research sectors.
This small but well-established company designs, builds and maintains bespoke Laboratory Equipment and Rigs and Mini-Pilot Plants. Through their expert calibration and inspection services, they maintain the research infrastructures of their blue-chip customers.
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will support the sales activity and will be trained to provide design/consultancy for the electrical/control element of projects, and will produce detailed control system cost estimates for new projects, specify instrumentation and produce electrical drawings. You will also provide critical breakdown support on electrical/control systems, administer and implement service contracts for customers, and project-manage projects and sub-projects.
Qualified to degree level in electrical engineering or equivalent, you will ideally have some electrical engineering design experience and knowledge of software engineering, configuration and administration, project management principles, quality assurance/improvement systems and PLCs as well as CAD design packages such as AutoCad. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate on the systems used by the company.
