Outline Job Profile: Production Operations Engineer
Working as part of the Processor Production Operations Team based in either Portsmouth or Stevenage.
To manage component Bill of Materials from design to delivery, obtaining component approvals and completion of all supporting documentation (PADs, DCL etc)
Project Value £1M-£20M
Essential Skills/Experience
Degree Level or equivalent knowledge in appropriate Engineering discipline.
Demonstrable experience in similar role specifically parts/component engineering for new product introduction.
Knowledge of Electronic, Electrical and Electromechanical parts/components and associated specification systems.
Conversant with Product Assurance requirements relating to high reliability electronic components.
Self-starting, able to work on own initiative.
Able to communicate at all levels.

Desirable Attributes
Has knowledge of and used MRP tools.
Has knowledge of component construction, screening and failure analysis.
Has knowledge of space borne radiation effects.
Is conversant with International Component Qualification systems (ESCC & Mil).
