Our client, a world leader in the design and manufacture of electric motors and revolutionary new wheel motors for the automotive and allied industries is now looking to recruit a Process Engineer for their offices in Hampshire. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, as Process Engineer you will help to establish robust manufacturing and test processes; maintain manufacturing equipment and continuously pursue opportunities for process and product improvement.

Educated to degree level in an Electronic or electro-mechanical discipline, successful candidates will have automotive (OEM or Tier 1) and manufacturing start up experience. Experience of the procurement of complex manufacturing and test facilities for electro-mechanical products/electric motors would be advantageous. Previous experience of the maintenance of manufacturing equipment in a 24/7, just-in-time environment is required as is enlightened manufacturing philosophy (Six Sigma, for example). Self-motivated and tenacious you will have an analytical and thorough work method. Team-orientated you will also be passionate about your work and have excellent problem solving skills.
