Power Generation Shift Operations Technician - North London - £36,000

A major operational power generating plant in North London is looking to recruit an experienced Operations Control Room Supervisor to work on a shift pattern at their site.

As the control Room Supervisor you will be part of a team responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the boiler, turbine, flue gas treatment and de-mineralisation plant, plus all associated auxiliary plant. The team is responsible, through the Duty Shift Engineer, for maintaining the performance and efficiency and to optimize incineration and power generation within the constraints of safe operating parameters.

To be considered you should have gained experience on C&G Boiler Operation, Turbine Operation or equivalent. Preferably National Certificate level in mechanical or electrical or plant engineering and must have experience in the operation of Boilers, Turbines and auxiliary plant, or suitable alternative experience augmented by further training Experience gained in the Power Station, Waste, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Marine industries would be very beneficial.

The package on offer to the successful applicant is worth a salary in the region of £36,000 and good holidays
