W2E Plant Operations Manager Sheffield - £44,000 plus bonus plus car

Our client is a leading company in the Waste to Energy sector in the UK; they currently have an excellent opportunity for an Operations Manager who combines a technical background with a good understanding of the EfW regulatory environment.

Reporting to the Operations Director; the successful candidate will be required to manage the site in a safe and efficient manner on a day to day basis, directing and coordinating the activities of the operations team. The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing the operational performance of all plant and processes on site, including the methods and organisation of the work to ensure full compliance with legislation, Veolia policies and procedures within agreed objectives.

The operations manager should have a proven track record in man management and managing an ERF, a Power Plant or a Process Plant within IPPC guidelines

The package on offer to the successful candidate is worth £40k to £44k plus bonus (up to 20%) plus car plus BUPA.
