Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

My client is a hugely successful manufacturer of plastic FMCG goods. Employing around 50 staff they are a well established business and have the financial backing of their larger parent organisation. To support their production capabilities they are looking to recruit a mechanical maintenance engineer to work a continental shift pattern.

In your capacity as a maintenance engineer you will work a twelve hour rotating shift pattern. Your key responsibilities will be first line maintenance on a broad range of high speed automated machinery, as well as planned maintenance, machinery refurbishments and project work.

Candidates for this position must have a comprehensive mechanical skill set. This will include expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, motors, welding and fabrication. Previous experience within a manufacturing environment and knowledge of automated machinery is desired.
