We are currently looking to recruit a time served mechanical engineer with a minimum of City & Guilds part 4, having at least 5 years practical experience in all aspects of packaging machinery/ equipment, particularly Ramboudi, Bronzoni and Marriani, plus the associated services.

The successful candidate would have design experience for standard applications such as machine guards, trays etc with a working knowledge of CAD.

Because of the nature of the site experience in plant and machinery movements/ layouts would also be necessary along with pallet and box conveyor experience so therefore forklift truck and appointed person certs/ licenses for all the necessary lift and shift process would be advantage.

We are very conscious of H&S, Environmental issues and continuous improvement so their association with the 4C is held in very high esteem and any contractor on site must adhere to all the associated rules/ regs and working practices as a major priority.

To summarise the successful candidate will be conscientious, a good communicator, always able to go the extra mile, willing to work overseas, very health and safety conscious with the ability to view any malpractice and report immediately, presentable at all times and fulfil a good representation of our company. The skill sets are welding, fabrication, pipe work, mechanical maintenance and machinery and equipment installations / relocations.
