This highly successful Medical Devices consultancy specialises in providing engineering services to the Automotive, Healthcare and defence industries throughout the world.

Due to a growing client base they now have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Cambridge.

As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for working on projects using mechanical engineering and CAD skills. Within this role you will work within development projects from contract negotiations through to final delivery. Other duties will include:

- Concept generation
- Analysis of system architectures and mechanical design engineering
Generating concepts and layouts of systems in CAD
The suitable candidate will ideally be educated to a Degree level (or equivalent) within an engineering discipline. You will also have previous experience of working within the medical device industry with Pro Engineer, Solidworks and 3D CAD.
