My Client are a company who, For more than 70 years we have been designing and manufacturing compressors, condensing units and pressure vessels which are known worldwide for their reliability and efficiency.

We are currently looking for a Design Draughtsman based in their Milton Keynes Office

Duties

•Obtaining information required for drawings, material selections or manufacturing processes.
•Producing calculations by computer or other means to satisfy design requirements.
•Producing clear and accurate drawings and / or details sketches to an acceptable standard.
•Produce drawings by either ideas or AUTOCAD LT.
•Checking drawings supplied by others.
•Keep appropriate documentation up to date, i.e. drawing and revision log.
•Liaise with others on drawing requirements, i.e. completion dates and design changes.
•Undertaking training, when specified by the Engineering Manager.
•Control of drawings and drawing office consumables etc.
•Undertaking other appropriate duties when specified by the Engineering Manager
•reviewing design methods and procedures, modifying drawings and administration of
•drawing changes.
•Despatching, receiving and recording of drawings or other design data, either by mail or
•electronically, to clients, inspection bodies and subcontractors as appropriate.
