My Client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of satellite systems. Our activities cover complete civil and military telecommunications and Earth observation systems, science and navigation programmes, together with avionics and a wide range of space equipment and associated ground infrastructure.

Reporting to the Mass Properties Section Leader within the Stress Sizing team, responsible for producing detailed traceable mass properties analysis (mass, CG and inertias).

Role
•Produce mass properties analysis and reports based on manufacturing drawings and CAD models of spacecraft platforms and antenna equipments.

•Produce mass properties estimates and reports for bids/concepts.

•Produce regular mass properties status reports.

•Support physical mass properties measurements in line with the Project/Manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications and/or Skills

Computer literate with a good standard of Microsoft Office applications.
Working standard of CATIA V4 / V5 and VPM would be useful
Good communication skills.
Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or related subject

Ideally you will have a background or interest in Mechanical Engineering, Maths, Physics and you may have worked as a Mass Properties Engineer, Mass Engineer, Weights Engineer, Weights Analyst, Mass Analyst.
