An Aerospace client of our currently require a Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical
Job Summary:

Manufacturing Engineer to support both New Product Introduction activities and the production of complex and small batch parts in electrical & electronic fields which fall outside the core capabilities of more conventional manufacturing areas.
A good working knowledge of electrical & electronic machine shop, assembly and test processes are essential.
Key responsibilities

“Identify tooling and equipment needs
“Support shop floor with Technical issues
“Dealing with daily issues
“Implement changes to job cards when applicable
“Maintaining Avante system
“Attend relevant reviews and meetings
“Ensure quality levels are maintained
“Work closely with design teams on new product implementation (Pro-Launch)
“Process control and variation reduction within processes
“Cost reduction initiatives.
“PFMEA.

oError proofing
oSPC

“Adopting and deploying systems using the prescribed tools

The Electrical background and machining knowledge is essential.

Qualifications / Experience required

“HNC / Degree in appropriate Engineering discipline or equivalent

“Experience of shop floor processes, Electrical Assembly and Test
“Able to interpret Engineering Drawings
“Knowledge of Drawing Packages
