The Company
A well established, multi-site operation that have established themselves as one
of the leading players in the FMCG sector. This site produces a broad range of
savoury snack foods to a host of the UK’s major retailers.
The Role
Working as part of a maintenance engineering team across continental shifts
(permanent nights) your role is focused on attending breakdowns, PPM, project
engineering and CI initiatives. You will be working across low and high care
production lines on a broad range of automated processing and packaging
lines.
The Candidate
Candidates for this position must be apprentice trained or equivalent electrical
engineers with mechanical skills and an appreciation of PLC controls. Previous
experience in food manufacturing is desired although suitable candidates from
a high volume manufacturing background will be considered. Strong fault
finding skills, a positive attitude, the ability to work under pressure and good
documentation skills are all essential. This role offers a salary of £32-25k,
stakeholder pension and private healthcare after a qualifying period.
