The Company
A fantastic opportunity is now available to join one of the world’s leading FMCG organisations. This blue chip company manufacture a broad portfolio of branded products, within the ever buoyant food and beverage industry. To support increasing production of their recession proof production range they are looking to recruit an electrically biased maintenance engineer. This role will be a continental shift (4 on the 4 off) at their sate of the art production site in Central North London.

The Role
In your capacity as a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a section of the site. The area you will be responsible for will be the automated warehouse situated next to the factory. You will be working on a broad range of automated materials handling equipment including conveyors, sortation systems and robotic palletisers.

The Candidate
Candidates for this position must be apprentice trained engineers with a minimum qualification of NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering (or the equivalent qualifications). You must be multi-skilled and equally capable with electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills. Some PLC knowledge including the ability to interpret inputs/outputs is required. The ability to meet the daily challenges and high tempo of the FMCG sector is also required.

The Rewards
The rewards for working for this blue chip organisation are plentiful. You will receive a starting salary £43k with all overtime paid at time and a half or double time.
