Our client, a leading energy company based in Nottinghamshire is now looking to recruit a Gas Turbine Engineer. The Gas Turbine Engineer will be working as part of a commercially focused team within a business looking to continually improve, delivering technical consultancy advice to a wide range of internal and external customers.
In this role as Gas Turbine Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise on gas turbine plant throughout the Company and to external clients. You will also be responsible for the definition of technical and functional requirements for new and refurbished gas turbine plant, as well as the evaluation of manufacturer’s tenders. You will provide technical advice and assessment on both new and existing turbine plant as well as analyze engineering opportunities and threats.
Successful candidates will hold a qualification to degree level or equivalent, or hold equivalent extensive and relevant experience. self-motivated, you will have the ability to build strong working partnerships; to communicate effectively with a range of people both verbally and in writing and to recognise and promote business opportunities with enthusiasm and drive. The ideal candidate will have a breadth of gas turbine experience, which may include; design, development, operation and/or maintenance. Applications from candidates with less experience will be considered. A willingness to travel and to work on customer sites both in the UK and abroad is essential.
