Field Service Engineer - Scientific - Midlands - South UK - Field Service Engineer

This market leading organisation has been established since 2003 and is a specialist in supplying and servicing cutting edge HPLC analytical instruments used in analysis within the scientific industry. Clients of this company are from Pharmaceutical, Research, University and NHS organisations. Due to an increase in the client base, they now have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to cover the Midlands, South UK territory.

As the Field Service Engineer you will responsible for visiting client sites throughout the South UK to provide post sales technical support on instruments supplied by the company.

Other duties will include:
-Performing installations
-Training customers on using equipment
-Providing emergency maintenance and servicing equipment
-Building and maintaining customer relationships

The suitable candidate will ideally be educated to a HND / HNC level (or equivalent) within an Electronic discipline. Previous experience of field based service engineering with HPLC equipment is essential for this role. Knowledge of medicinal, analytical and combinatorial chemistry is highly desirable.
