Excellent opportunities have arisen for an Electrical Improvement Engineer, an Electrical Planner and an HV Engineer to join this customer-focused, innovative solutions-driven company which makes hot-rolled, cold-rolled and metallic-coated strip steels and provides solutions in product design, processing technologies and management of the supply chain.
Positions are now available for the following HNC/Degree qualified Electrical Engineers within their Energy Department to work on maintenance and capital improvement projects at their Port Talbot site:
Electrical Improvement Engineer – You will be involved in site wide improvement projects relating to 66/11kV high voltage networks. Experience of HV systems maintenance or design is required.
Electrical Planner – You will be responsible for an effective planning and spares system for the specific area of responsibility against the annual budget. You will possess some electrical engineering experience including knowledge of planning and scheduling (ideally using MS Project or SAP). Good interpersonal skills are also highly desirable.
HV Engineer – You will be required to maintain HV protection equipment and network control systems. Suitable candidates should possess some experience of HV systems and be able to demonstrate good maintenance planning skllls.
