Electrical Emgineer AIT Stevenage 12 Months Contract £30ph to LTD

My client is a global space industry leader, with world-class expertise and extensive prime contractor experience across all sectors of the space business.

Become part of a team of engineers to perform Spacecraft Electrical Integration and Test. The role will include:

Perform electrical integration and testing of electronic units and subsystems associated with spacecraft platforms and payloads, e.g. Power, Data Handling, Software, Communications and control.
Write S/W test sequences for controlling the test environment.
Defining electrical test aids and cables required to perform remote electrical testing.
Write test procedures and test reports.
Travel overseas to work for short periods.

Qualifications and/or Skills
All candidates shall have as a minimum HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering discipline:
Previous Experience
Potential candidates should have a good working knowledge of one or more of the following areas:
integration, test and fault finding various electronic units and subsystems, both analogue and digital e.g. power supplies, communications equipment, positional control units, instrumentation in both manual and automated (S/W controlled) test environments.
Candidates should have a good working knowledge of COTS test equipment e.g. Logic Analysers, Spectrum Analysers, DMM, Oscilloscopes, power supplies etc.
Desirable: Previous spacecraft test. S/W script writing for control of test equipment and test environment.
