To carry out and prepare electrical and instrumentation design work within the Project Engineering Department.
Size of projects- generally up to £250K
Location of projects- Predominantly UK Market
Carry out the initial review of scope and content of a design package.
Preparation of the design documentation in a logical and precise manner following QA procedures and utilising the company’s design tools which are AutoCAD, Promise and Microsoft Office.
Gather information from Suppliers, Clients and User to ensure the design scope is correctly interpreted.
Liaise with internal Divisions / Departments to obtain relevant information for inclusion within the design scope and to coordinate project timescales.
Attend site visits, FATs, SATs to monitor the progress of the installation and ensure the design intent is adhered to.
Attend a project kick-off and internal design review meetings.
To ensure that all design activities are carried out in a systematic and controlled manner.
To ensure that the customers requirements have been fully understood and accommodated within the design deliverables
To ensure the design responsibility and design requirements have been clearly identified and documented.
