We are now seeking Engineering Professionals to join an environmental capability that provides contract R&D and consultancy to major customers within the nuclear decommissioning, clean up and disposal sectors. The capability comprises a multi-disciplinary team with a wide range of skills aimed at delivering a diverse service to its customer base.
Opportunities now exist for HND/Degree qualified Electrical and Mechanical Engineers at their Workington facilities. In Cumbria.
Design and Development Engineer - Mechanical: You will produce innovative, high quality design schemes, detail drawings and supporting calculations for mechanical equipment and test rigs for the nuclear industry.
You will have a thorough working knowledge of all legislative and regulatory standards and procedures relating to both construction and engineering projects. You will be competent in the use of 3D modeling design packages such as Solid Works and/or 2D CAD design packages such as AutoCAD LT.
Ideally you will have first hand knowledge of the design of equipment for use in radiation and contamination areas, safety related qualifications such as IOSH and/or NEBOSH and experience of FEA.
Design and Development Engineers – Electrical, Control & Instrumentation: You will produce innovative, high quality design schemes, detail drawings and supporting calculations for electrical, control and instrumentation equipment, systems and test rigs for the nuclear industry.
You will have a thorough working knowledge of all legislative and regulatory standards and procedures relating to both construction and engineering projects You will be competent in the use of 2D CAD design packages such as AutoCAD LT and/or 3D CAD solid modeling packages such as Solid Works.
Ideally you will have first hand knowledge of the design of E, C&I systems and equipment for use in radiation and contamination areas, experience of 16th and 17th edition wiring regulations and knowledge and experience of building services.
