An opportunity has arisen for Control and Instrumentation Engineers to join the Nuclear Generation, Decommissioning and Defence teams of one of the largest providers of energy consultancy and engineering support services in the UK.

As a Control and Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for
C&I equipment specification, assessment & justification, front end engineering design package generation, project cost and time control and reporting and liaison with clients, suppliers and contractors.

A chartered engineer, qualified to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline, you will be able to demonstrate sound technical experience. Ideally, you will also have experience of conventional/nucleonic instrumentation, safety instrumented systems, programmable logic Controllers and/or fire Detection Systems. You will also have some knowledge of safety standards (IEC 61508, 61511, 61513), SIL categorisation and safety lifecycle. Knowledge or experience of availability, reliability and maintainability, fault trees, FMEA and HAZOP and automation system design would be advantageous.
