A first class opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager to join a leading European provider of energy services to local authorities and companies who offer customers end-to-end multi-energy solutions, applying their skills to deliver a comprehensive package of water, energy, waste management and transport services.

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality service to a portfolio of clients within the industrial and public healthcare sectors, over a wide geographic area from Manchester to Liverpool. You will be running seven contracts totalling seven million pounds, including a CHP in a hospital, chemical plants and industrial facilities. Overall, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of plants through the management of a team of one supervisor and six/seven multi-skilled mobile technicians ensuring contractual commitments and service delivery are achieved within budget. Moreover, you will be responsible for maintaining excellence in client relationships and developing commercial opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the management of steam raising plants and multi-utility services, with proven man management skills and commercial acumen. Experience of managing CHP sites is desirable.

A degree level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline would be desirable but is not essential. Relevant experience and the ability to manage a demanding portfolio and deliver excellent service are more important.

Although the role is officially based at Wakefield office, the majority of your time will be spent onsite in the Manchester area.
