Due to the present boom in the power station market, an opportunity has now arisen for a Commissioning Engineer to join this global company based in Stuttgart. Our client is part of the world leader in energy infrastructure and transport, specializing in the businesses of steam generator/ firing technology as well as environmental protection.
As Commissioning Engineer you will be responsible for the planning, implementation and coordination of the commissioning of steam generators, firing systems and auxiliary equipment. You will lead the commissioning team and have responsibility for the supervision and optimization of the plant operation. You will also be responsible for the documentation of the commissioning results and the preparation of the operating manual.
Successful candidates will be suitably qualified in mechanical engineering or in another relevant field. Ideally you will have experience in power plant engineering as well as experience in dealing with customers and suppliers. The ability to work in a multicultural environment is essential and a good knowledge of English as well as German would be advantageous. Team working skills and the ability to cope with conflicts are necessary, as is the willingness to work worldwide and to undertake long stays on site.
